DeKalb Police Cancels "Meet the Chief" in Dunwoody

This morning the DeKalb Police Department put out a notice that they have canceled the "Meet the Chief" scheduled for October 27th at Perimeter Mall.

Maybe it's due to the request of the dog walkers and others in the community so they can reschedule it for the Auditorium at Brook Run Park?

When that meeting is rescheduled, I will be asking if the Police are receiving daily reports from the one contracted security officer for suspicious activity or incident reports. DeKalb Facilities Management and the DeKalb Parks Department oversees this contract and should be demanding daily door & window security checks for the vacant buildings. This wasn't happening in the past and the buildings they were trying to save were being badly vandalized. I thought that this was corrected by requiring the security officer to actually get out of the car but maybe it isn't?
