Murder at a Dunwoody gas station - Police are looking for "Person of Interest" shown on video.

DeKalb County Police officials are investigating a shooting death that occurred Thursday shortly after 7 p.m. at a Texaco service station on North Peachtree Road, just north of I-285.

Police said they’re trying to figure out why Allen Wolfenbarger, 30, was shot. Police were examining a security videotape that showed the man leaving the store with another man. If you have any information as to the shooting or the second person in the video tape, please contact DeKalb County Police.

You have a lot of nerve making a post like that. My best friend is dead, and you want to dredge up his past? His previous charges sure as hell don't include "murder", I can tell you that! Besdides, no matter what charge Allen and his brother have/had don't make it worthy of being killed. Have some compassion or respect for the people who were impacted by the death of Allen, including his 4 year-old daughter who will never see him again. As you stated in your post, justice WILL prevail and karma is a mother! Good luck, denial is a serious thing to overcome! It's a damn shame - common sense just isn't so common!

We've noticed that it seems as though the Texaco station is closing, do you know if this is true? The numbers for the gas prices have been down for awhile and not much traffic. Now if we can just get the police to monitor the BP across the street! We have noticed the police cars in our area (N. Peachtree Road) and we LOVE it!!!

I noticed that as well, Judi. However, last evening it appeared that the car detail, and subsequently the car wash, were still operating. I would hope that car wash area would be torn down. I cannot believe that the situation with the murder was the first time a drug deal had gone down in that facility.
