Dunwoody City Council Work Session Video

FYI: the parking situation was squashed as a mistake even before public comment.  We won't see that again.

Thanks for putting me on the lead frame of the last 15 minutes of the video. I am sure viewers wil flock to see more.
But I cant get it to open and run so I am spared the video of the last 15 minutes

Hey Bob - your picture made me want to watch it. :-) It worked for me - I was able to view it.

You all know how I feel about the STUPUD parking idea that died a lonely death. Keep it in the ground never let it see light again. Plus, have a problem when Ric agrees with me on any issue. Ric continues to speak of what he knows not.
MY video post is very clear how I felt about three other issues that are a waste of time, given we have codes in place that do exactly what the revision portend to do.
Lastly, if you watched Danny Ross, he is justifying a change to the new liquor code we have because it adversely impacts the New York Butcher Shop. ( like the Butcher Shop, great sandwiches and meats)
He then goes on to state another place similarly located had be grand fathered under the old code and now the restaurant should be granted the same rights as the grandfathered establishments.
WRONG
With that logic, you should not be passing any codes if you are going to grandfather business, then allow new business who apply under the new code restrictions to be allowed to follow the OLD GRAND FATHERED code to be fair. This is what happens when you have unintended consequences.
A Special Land Use Permit is not the answer as different neighborhoods are going to react differently
If you now know that you new code is bad rescind it. Don’t write new codes or change old ones that work elsewhere to serve the need of a single business. That is not good government. It is reactionary and leads to confusing self interest fragmented legislation
