So Dunwoody citizens voted (54.25% yes) to give our local government the authority to develop, yet denied the funding for the very projects this power was intended to serve.

Eric, what was passed was the Redevelopment Powers Law which has little or no direct cost to the city except possibly deferred tax revenue on future improvements.
