Cyber safety discussion for Parents tonight at Dunwoody United Methodist Church

Detective Jenny Miller, DeKalb County Police Department will speak to two groups at Dunwoody United Methodist Church about cyber safety.

On Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7:05 p.m., in the Wesley Room, Det. Miller will speak to parents of teens about what they can do to monitor and assist their children in staying safe in the cyber world.

On Sunday, Feb. 15, at 4 p.m. in the Youth Area, she will talk to 6th – 12th graders about how to remain safe the cyber world, and will also answer questions about the subject, general and specific. Det. Miller will talk about creating profiles, cyberbullying, sexting, GPS location and on-line exploitation.
