Gold diggers and gold vendors...

They also charge $1000 for background searches for escort businesses, by far the highest fee (massage, alcohol and adult entertainment ring up a nominal $50 charge).

It would seem the modus operandi of the CoD is to apply every tax the county has to at least the same degree and sneak in the others as "fees". This makes Dunwoody look like it is concerned about little more than grabbing money which helps explain why the DPD is busy ticketing on 285 and notably absent in NW Dunwoody, where a child was hit by an automobile.

Can we go back to chickens now? Isn't that what is really important?Sight Edmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02209999489685877741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2935662058758102231.post-85974826275722365212009-11-16T14:36:45.928-05:002009-11-16T14:36:45.928-05:00Does DeKalb charge this escort service tax/fee? Is Dunwoody isolating escorts to keep them away from Dunwoody? Or are there lots of escorts in the area and the city wants some of their money? Or, is the city planning on requiring licenses for all types of professions.

If this idea is one to generate funds then I suggest requiring lawyers and accountants to pay 1 $250 fee to be licensed in Dunwoody.

I'm not too concerned that other local cities have the same fee for escorts. I'd simply like to know who brought this issue to the table and what is the intent.DunwoodyTalkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13830017380253003870noreply@blogger.com
