Dunwoody 4th of July Parade - Photos
The Heneghan family had a quick cookout at our house on Friday evening with three other couples followed by a visit to Historic Downtown Norcross to the new Lillian Webb Park to see the fireworks. There was a nice family festival there whereby we ran into no less that ten other Dunwoody families who ventured to Norcross to see the fireworks.
Saturday morning was the Dunwoody 4th of July Parade and I really enjoyed the event. With 175 parade entries we owe a debt of gratitude to the Dunwoody Homeowners Association and the Dunwoody Crier for putting on the largest parade in Georgia for the holiday. Thanks to all of the people behind the scenes, especially Pam Tallmadge who coordinated such a wonderful parade. The evening followed with a cookout at a friends house followed by a quiet night at home since we had seen fireworks the night before and the kids were completely worn out. (Heard that Chamblee put on a good fireworks show, maybe next year we will be in attendance?)
A few people forwarded me photos and videos and I thought I would share them here. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteWhere were "Dunwoody's finest" when this clearly ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED TRUCK was riding by? Tickets should have been issued to these passengers immediately. Oh - but wait! They are all WHITE folks and it's a special event sponsored by the a ALL WHITE Dunwoody power structure. My bad.
