  1. Chief Grogan says he needs more police officers. Well, I guess the tax monies spent on the retreat could have gone towards funding another police officer.

Davis and Nall get elected by hypocritically stating they are going to be the gatekeeper of the taxpayers' money, but first thing they do is hold a retreat at a fancy hotel. What's wrong with City Hall and a couple carafes of coffee? Way to go tea party Davis and Nall candidates and now made official!

  2. At least they didn't schedule a junket to a small town near an entertainment hotspot or take their show on the road to Stone Mountain. The first they did, the other they reconsidered only after public uproar. And that was back when everyone was singing kumbaya.

Personally I think they should have it over at their brand spankin' new building on N. Shallowford at Peachford. It's completely empty and I think they should spend as much time with their pet white elephant as possible. As for refreshments, I suggest they have a little tea. Hot, cold, sweetened and unsweetened. They can pay for it out of their own pockets since they paid for the empty building from ours.
