Transportation Regarding Dunwoody Village Parkway TE Grant. The Community support seems to be waning on this project which is scheduled to remove two lanes of traffic. Would the one million dollars budgeted for the project be better used on an intersection that everyone agrees needs improveing? This vote though not advertised as such, may make that decision so please feel free to comment on the blog or reach out to your elected officials.) - Discussion and Approval of GDOT Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant Contract Amendment.
- Discussion of False Alarm Ordinance.
- Discussion of Brook Run Park Trail.
- Discussion of Seasonal Concert Series.
If a Dunwoody resident does not pay a speeding ticket, then the police would refuse to help that person after a car accident - using the logic Chief Grogan has proposed with the alarm ordinance. He wants to ignore a homeowner's alarm if that person has not not paid an alarm fine (or even possibly the $15 yearly new tax). And where does the money for this new "fee" go? I got another good idea: the library should not allow people to use the bathroom if they have an overdue book.
