  1. An alarm user class by the city? U have to be kidding me. A civil fine(TAX) because a surge in an thunder storm set off an alarm? The citizens and businesses are already paying the city for premium services, it's why the city was formed; right? Now, the city will TAX (fine) for acts because that premium service is bothersome. Council in reference to the "verify", please stand up and tell Dunwoody that there will be even more of a delay in police response to a possible in-progress crime while that follow up phone call is made for verification before the police are ever called. Here's my idea; everytime a citizen can document the city underperforming they get a tax abatement, a nice reverse civil fine. How about a satsfaction vote? Every 4 or 8 years the citizens get to vote on whether the city keeps its charter. Four years old and already with the nickel and dime nonsense. Perfect illustration of why Dunwoody is not better government just unnecessary government.

  2. No need to be "alarmist".....there has been a lot of misunderstanding around this issue. Chief Grogan and Mayor Davis did an excellent job at the last City Council meeting elaborating on some details, and I think, alleviating concerns and putting fears to rest. Time to move on.
