Below is information from Michael Smith I copied from an email he sent me.
ReplyDeleteThe City had all of the trees out of the road that were not entangled with power lines by 6 a.m. this morning. There are about 8 locations including Olde Village Run where Georgia Power still has to remove the live power lines before the tree can be cleared.
We are referring citizens to the Georgia Power outage map on their website for information about restoring power.
We also have been in contact with DeKalb sanitation to make sure they are aware of the large amount of debris that will likely be at the curb next week. The County plans to collect everything that meets their guidelines for pickup.
