  1. I am particularly interested in item #3 in "Approval of a Contract with Treetop Quest": "The city will ensure the exact course maintains adequate buffers to protect residential property
bordering this part of the park." When will the exact footprint of this thing be decided? All I've seen so far are ovals sketched on a map, one of which seems perilously close to my back fence.

  2. John -- Were the two board vacancies announced in advance by the city with requests for applicants?

  3. Susan there will be a buffer and if there are concerns please reach out to me via email or contact Parks Director Brent Walker.

Joe, the CVB nomination came from District 3 directly, namely our representative stepped off and I with Doug's concurrence nominated the replacement as he applied as required. If you see his resume, know his character as personally I do over the last 18 years; he is uniquely well qualified.

The Community Council nomination came from the Mayor who I believe obtained the resume from our application process. There may be more openings on that and other boards soon so please apply if interested.
