City of Dunwoody passes Emergency Dining Restrictions - take-out, delivery, drive-thru and curbside pick-up only.
"Tonight the Dunwoody City Council made the difficult decision to change the way restaurants can operate within the City of Dunwoody. To be clear, restaurants can remain OPEN, but there should be no dine-in option beginning Saturday morning. Restaurants can continue to provide take-out, delivery, drive-thru and curbside pick-up.
We did this because we have grave concerns about the public's health. The latest CDC recommendation of no groups more than 10 people plus our federal government's 15 days to slow the spread campaign pushed me to take action. I am grateful for Council's support and commitment to the health of not just our community but beyond.
I hope you will join my family in supporting our restaurants by ordering to eat at home the next few weeks." Mayor Lynn Deutsch
SECTION 4. 4.1(b) Bars, restaurants, and other businesses who sell food may offer food for take-away or for customers to eat somewhere other than at the establishment.
