What: The inaugural Dunwoody Art Festival will take place May 8-9, 2010 in and around Dunwoody Village Shopping Center and on Chamblee Dunwoody Road in the heart of Dunwoody*. More than 150 national and regional artists will be exhibiting. There will be live music, children’s activities, food, and a host of surprises spread over two days. *Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd will be closed to vehicle traffic from Mt. Vernon to Dunwoody Village Pkwy for the Festival.
Who: It will take almost 400 community ambassadors to stage this great Dunwoody event. Please consider donating two or three hours with your family or neighbors to showcase our beautiful community. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Artist Set-up
- Artist/Sponsor Check-in
- Headquarters
- Hospitality
- Traffic Control/Parking
- T-shirt Sales
- Volunteer Check-in
