Three funds (sources of revenue) will take an immediate hit, SPLOST which comes from sales tax, Hotel-Motel taxes, and new construction building permit fees. Over time if the economy gets really bad, business licenses will not be renewed and property taxes will have a higher uncollected rate, therefore, the staff has already started cutting the administrative budget and Council will need to review and reevaluate plans and obligations like paving and projects.
