Report - Impact on City Financials During This Emergency
Second Restatement and Amendment of Emergency Ordinance of the Mayor and Council of the City of Dunwoody, Georgia, Under Section 1.03 of the Charter of the City of Dunwoody, Georgia, Declaring Local Emergency of the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 Global Pandemic
We need your help or hear from you on the three discussion items listed below.
Discussion - How can we help local businesses in the short term during this emergency? The City wants to foster economic development and viability among our local businesses as we know the next few months will be difficult. What can the city do to assist in making these businesses as successful as we can?
Discussion - The City of Dunwoody also has partner non-profits service or community organizations (that are run like a business) like Stage Door Players, Dunwoody Nature Center, Dunwoody Preservation Trust, and others. They will need assistance to get through this crisis and some organizations have already reached out to the city for relief like the waiving of rent payments.
Discussion - How can we help non-profits that support the poor during this emergency?
As there is no public comment at an emergency special called meeting (can we change that?) plus with the impediment of having the meetings conducted remotely, public feedback prior to or during a meeting would be difficult to propose. I would like to ask the community to please provide us your comments and suggestions on the items above (or anything else) via email.
