Resolution Appointing a Member to Serve on the Alcohol License Review Board.

Contract Amendment for Precision Planning - City Hall Design & Oversight

Resolution Creating the City of Dunwoody Public Facilities Authority.  This will greatly assist the Dunwoody Nature Center in allowing them to raise funds as it allows long term lease rights.

Adoption of Comprehensive Transportation Plan Update
New in the 2017 Transportation Plan Update

This update to the plan provides reprioritized project tiers that have been sorted based on their anticipated project time frames of completion (short-, mid-, and long-term). These tiers have been updated to account for any projects that have been completed, any that are in progress currently, and any new projects that have been identified through comments received from the public as well as other planning efforts undertaken since the 2011 CTP.

There are 13 new projects not identified in any previous plan that are recommended to be incorporated in this update. Six of these projects are intersection improvements projects identified from citizen requests and/or traffic analysis:

1. Project No. 69- Improve the intersection of Chamblee Dunwoody Road at Womack Road by adding westbound left and right turn lanes
2. Project No. 70- Improve intersection of Tilly Mill Road and Peeler Road
3. Project No. 72- Extend the dual eastbound left turn lanes at Meadow Lane Road at Ashford Dunwoody Road
4. Project No. 73- Construct an eastbound left turn lane within the median at the intersection of Meadow Lane Road and Ridgeview Road
5. Project No. 90- Construct a westbound right turn lane on Peachford Road at North Shallowford Road
6. Project No. 93- Improve the intersection of Jett Ferry Road and Dunwoody Club Drive in conjunction with the City of Sandy Springs who will manage the project

The other 7 new projects are pedestrian and bicycle improvements:

1. Project No. 40- Construct a multi-use path that connects North Peachtree Road and Winters Chapel Road via Tilly Mill Road and Peeler Road
2. Project No. 42- Construct a multi-use path system to connect the Withmere neighborhood with Dunwoody Park and the new Austin Elementary School
3. Project No. 46- Add bike lanes on Womack Road
4. Project No. 48- Complete gaps in Vermack Road sidewalk and bike lane
5. Project No. 52- Coordinate with the cities of Peachtree Corners and Doraville to construct pedestrian and bicycle improvements on S.R. 141/Peachtree Industrial Boulevard Access Road
6. Project No. 92- Construct a multi-use path on Tilly Mill Road between Womack Road and Mount Vernon Road
7. Project No. 94- Construct a multi-use path between Village North Court and Dunwoody Elementary School
