Is the Georgia Music Hall of Fame moving to Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody?

The application by the Dunwoody Music Conservancy to bring the Georgia Music Hall of Fame to Dunwoody was released in an open records request late last week to the Athens Banner-Herald newspaper.  The Dunwoody proposal shows that Perimeter Mall will be the initial home while the permanent location on Ashford Dunwoody at the Spruill Center for the Arts is constructed.

I read all the available proposals and would say that Dahlonega's was one of the weaker ones. Pretty heavy on "will do", not as much on "have done". Hopefully the GMHoF, it it moves, will go to a place with an established ecosystem where it is a good fit. I wish them the best.

Deal has removed all state funding from the GA Music Hall of Fame as well as the GA sports hall of fame. I wonder what this means for both the Dunwoody Bid and the Hall of Fame itself.
