Celebrate Mother's Day at the Dunwoody Art Festival - Live Music & Kids Area too.

A Mother’s Day tradition in the City of Dunwoody, the crowd-pleasing Dunwoody Art Festival will happen Rain or Shine and will celebrate its fifth dazzling show on May 10 and 11, 2014.

In 2013, Dunwoody Art Festival drew a remarkable crowd of more than 70,000 happy grandmothers, moms, children, and of course, lots of dads too! The picturesque stretch of Chamblee Dunwoody Road across from Dunwoody Village transforms into a whimsical artist market, and the normally traffic-lined street becomes a shoppers’ paradise. Bestowed the trophy for the “Best New Event of 2010” by the Southeast Festivals and Events Association, Dunwoody Art Festival continues to attract the top artisans from across the country. Along with the partnership of the Dunwoody Crier, incredible community volunteers and the Dunwoody Rotary Club, Dunwoody Art Festival is a must-see!

Along with the creative artist market, a fun-filled Kidz Zone awaits youngsters with great rides, sand art, imaginative crafts and games with the help from local favorite, the Purple Hippo Art Studio. A relaxing stage with continuous live music also offers festivalgoers a chance to unwind and relax before setting out again in search for that “gotta have it” piece of art. Dunwoody Art Festival also boasts a yummy food court with great eats from neighborhood restaurants, to that tasty funnel cake maker. There truly is something for everyone at Dunwoody Art Festival!

Join us on the picturesque stretch of Chamblee Dunwoody Road between Mt. Vernon Road and Dunwoody Village Parkway. This street will be closed to thru traffic from 2AM Saturday, May 10 through 10PM Sunday May 11. In your GPS enter 5506 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

This event will go on rain or shine.

Sorry Dunwoody Moms, I'm closing up my 17th annual "Mother's Day Free Beer and Bloody Marys" roadside stand now. My apologies to those ladies I was unable to service on your day, but please know I shall be back out front of my homestead next year, Mother's Day, May 10th, with free libations for y'all.
