These bills set the boundaries for the proposed City of Dunwoody as compared to our neighbors the Cities of Doraville & Chamblee as well as the City of Dunwoody's governing structure. The bills ensure that the entire Dunwoody North Community will totally be within the proposed City of Dunwoody boundaries if the city charter is enacted via an election. The new city boundaries will now stretch to the Gwinnett County line at Winter Chapel Road & Peachtree Industrial with Doraville retaining the properties already under its original jurisdiction. Doraville will also be gaining the Ridgeway Drive and Van Fleet Circle properties as well as the service station on the North West corner of Tilly Mill & Peachtree Industrial.
For those interested, I look forward to seeing you at our public meeting on Tuesday, February 28th; 6:30 pm at the Dunwoody North Driving Club, 4522 Kingsgate Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30338 to discuss this matter further with Senator Dan Weber.
