Please join us for a Q&A with a Panel of Parents from each feeder school.  Principal Heptinstall will open the meeting with a few remarks and then rising 6th grade Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions of current PCMS parents.

Find out answers to:

• How is my child placed academically?
• What are Gifted, High Achiever, and General Teams?
• How is bullying handled?
• What is Accelerated Math?
• Is there really band, orchestra, or chorus every day?
• When does my child begin foreign language every day?
• Can you really earn HS credits in 8th grade?

Come and ask an experienced group of parents your toughest questions and get honest answers.

Runners Needed in Dunwoody for Saturday's CV Classic at Peachtree Middle

The CV Classic, a timed 5K and also a 1 Mile Fun Run, takes place this Saturday, October 5th.  The race starts and finishes at the new track at Peachtree Charter Middle School in Dunwoody.  Ribbon cutting will be approximately 7:45 AM.

The number of race entrants is quickly increasing to match the number of pre-ordered dri-fit race shirts.  If you want to run the race and get an event shirt please complete and send in the registration form today.  Race participants also receive a race bag stuffed with coupons and other items of interest.

Dunwoody Jr Wildcats Volleyball (4th - 8th Grade Girls) now registering for Fall Camp

The Dunwoody Junior Wildcats is now registering girls for their fall volleyball program.

The three-week program will run Oct. 7-28 at the gymnasium at Peachtree Charter Middle School from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday nights. The six sessions (Oct. 7, 9, 16, 21, 23, 28)
are open to current 4th through 8th graders and will help players develop their skills on the court through group drills and competitive play. Players that are new to the sport as well as experienced players are welcome.

Sessions are designed to teach proper volleyball mechanics in a fun, safe, and learning environment that will challenge players to do their best in every drill and skill. Our coaches also provide a lot of individual attention for overall skill improvement.

Dunwoody Home Tour is today from 9:30 until 3 pm.

The 41st annual Dunwoody Home Tour will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The tour is hosted by the Dunwoody Women’s Club. The event is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online or at several Dunwoody area retailers.

Tickets are on sale at Consigning Women and Southern Comforts Consignments at Jett Ferry and Dunwoody Club Drive, Cutie Pies children's boutique in Dunwoody Village, Nancy's at the Shops of Dunwoody and Nancy's Hallmark at Georgetown. There are approximately 1,000 tickets printed and they usually sell out.

This year’s tour will showcase 5 homes, 4 of which have been recently renovated to reflect Craftsman, Georgian Revival, French Colonial, and American Traditional influences. The fifth home on the tour is a new estate which blends Colonial Revival, Tudor and Craftsman in a refreshing new approach.

The tour will be guided by the members of the Dunwoody Woman’s Club, providing history and other facts about the participating homes. Come take a look and maybe even pick up some interior decorating ideas for your own home.

All ticket proceeds from the Home Tour are returned to the community through the club’s diversified service projects in arts, conservation, education, home life, international outreach and public issues. The Dunwoody Woman’s Club is a 501.c.3 non-profit, charitable organization.

Peachtree Arts Festival & Movie this Saturday

PCMS Drama's 2013 ARTS FESTIVAL to be held Oct 5th at PCMS 3 pm to 9 pm.

New this year, live bands and performances, MC by comedian Marvin Lee, Food, fun, huge student art show, vendors, contests and more. Then stay for Movie on the Lawn "Disney's Enchanted" and special announcement of the Spring Musical for 2014.

Admission is $10 adults and $5 for students. Advance Tickets go on sale Monday 9/30 8:00 AM at PCMS.
