While the true intent of some of these regulations (daily filing of business transactions, etc.) may be to create so onerous a burden that some undesirable businesses will leave, or never come to, Dunwoody, couldn't we enter the 20th century, if not the 21st? And are we serious: write it on a card and drop it by the police station? And they'll put it in a little box and keep it safe? How quaint. How Mayberry.

How about a business portal instead? We will have to register our businesses, right? Why not allocate a business ID/Account number and password for automated filing via the web? Then we could generate daily reports showing trends and highlight any unusual traffic.

And Polaroid? Puhleeze! It's Flickr, Twitter, YouTube world. Let's get with it.
