Before we award a contract to a single vendor, shouldn't we be bidding out the contract?

Bob, I believe we did.

can we get a list of the bidders and the bids they submitted?

John, CAn you explain to me why in a city where we have more tennis players than almost anywhere in the country, the Master Plan does indicate that a single tennis court is to be built.
Not one girls softball field and not a soccer field in sight. And how can you build a city park without a basketball court?

Do we really want to turn Brook Run into a baseball center like Murphey Candler? Have you seen the parking problems at MC because of the use of their fields?

And since we have a new 16 acre park that is going to need hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring it back to a usable green space. Where is the money of plan for that . Are the rumors that the 15 acres are not really intended for parks, but perhaps some type of development or a City hall complex?
