Dunwoody area businesses needed to participate in the "Punch up the Green" local promotion card program.

The Dunwoody Sustainability Commission is proposing a punch card where you do six easy eco-actions between Earth Hour (3/27) and Earth Day (4/22) and get a discount at a local business. To encourage environmentally conscious choices, we are reaching out to our local area businesses to participate in the upcoming Punch Up the "Green" in Dunwoody promotion (see linked flyer).

The promotion, which runs from Earth Hour (March 27, 2010) to Earth Day (April 22, 2010), is a free opportunity to align your business with a positive local campaign, gain new customers for your retail store or service business and help encourage environmental awareness in your community. Feel free to use a deal already implemented in ongoing promotions and the Sustainability Commission will list it on their social networking site (www.dunwoodysustainability.ning.com). Participants simply fill out their punch card as they complete a variety of "eco-actions" and bring it in to participating local vendors when all actions are completed.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions regarding this promotion, please contact Pattie Baker at sustainablepattie@comcast.net. The deadline to sign up as a participating business is March 21, 2010.
