So, very, very sad.
According to Councilwoman Bonser, foul play is suspected.
Hey, I have a great idea! Let's be responsible adults, mentors to our children, and not some small town flibbertigibbets by spreading rumors about "foul play".
I'm sure Ms. Bonser is quite elated with you quoting what was probably something she shared with you, Ms. Linda Tripp, in confidence. Let the police do their work and let's not speculate here.
Speculate? Rumors? The fact that these tragic deaths are now considered foul play was all over the media outlets yesterday - which I where I saw Ms. Bonser provide the information. I'm sure if the police had asked her not to "confirm" what the media already knew, then she would not have done so.
The Dunwoody community, especially those of us who live in close proximity to where this tragedy occurred have a right to know if there are dangerous individuals in our midst.
Let me add on Dunwoody Mom's side "yeah, yeah, Wishbone." (sarcastically, followed by ignoring your future complaints)
All the best,
Steve Barton
Dunwoody, Georgia
I don't understand your childish, "yeah, yeah, yeah". Since when is a Blog comment section the appropriate place to get the town fearful about an incident in which the commentator has no official access to the facts and possibly the victims' family would read this information there first as well?
When Mr. Heneghan provides information he has facts or documentation on his site to back it up. Not just a comment stating, "somebody said...".
Maybe you can be all giggly about how exciting this is and whisper "telephone" with the rest of your Babysitters Club, but this is a very very serious tragic matter and out of respect for the victim's family we should allow the very capable Dunwoody Police Department to do their job and let them to be the ones to disseminate the official update status reports.
Wishbone is spot-on. The police should be the only communicator of facts about its investigations.
