Judge Tony DelCampo
The meeting was uneventful and very quick but I hope to have a number of documents presented tonight in paper format posted to the web in the coming week, including a copy of the city financial audit and possibly Judge DelCampo's oral remarks on the state of the Dunwoody Court System.

Actually, the mtg was VERY eventful: During public comment, Mayor Wright seemed scared and refused to look at me. Rather, he chose to stare at his phone with an odd look on his face. I asked him to stop being so rude while I was speaking, but he hunched further over into his phone like a little child cowarding and smirking from humiliation. He displayed a grotesque lack of respect to the citzens of Dunwoody and I worry he has lost hope for working with residents who seek change. Is he ok?
Hey Joe - you weren't SAYING anything. Those of us in the audience didn't even know what the heck your ISSUE was. Seemed you were there only to intimidate and demean. Worse yet, you brought your children to watch that spectacle???
Hey Southie - you are right! I wasn't saying anything, that was the point. (Glad you noticed.) The last several times I emailed the mayor, he either doesn't reply, or if he does, all he writes is that someone else will answer my questions - but no one does. (Oh, kind of like not saying anything at a podium.) So I asked last night what was so difficult about their jobs. The first 40 minutes of the meeting were just self-congratulatory pomp, so when I stood up to take issue with him, he seemed awkward and uncomfortable. Rather than looking at me as I spoke directly to him, the mayor’s only response was to retreat into his phone. All the other council members were polite, even if they disagree with me. It seems the mayor is also a little angry with the AJC article that ran last week where several people, including myself, criticized the city for some things. He’s probably a little embarrassed and not too happy with himself and didn’t know how to appropriately respond.
Joe: You do seem to have a specific issue that's at the heart of this. When you say the City Council isn't doing its job, outside of enforcing the noise ordinance, the sign ordinance, fixing the roads, etc., what specifically do you mean?
Joe, could you post a link to that article? I must have missed that one.
Thanks,
LB
Lindsay - the article was not put online by the AJC, and I am having trouble resharing this link:

(copy the link and Delete the space after "topicId". if it doesn’t work, you can contact me)
I thought my comments were positive, but the AJC also had a photo of my reserved parking sign that probably upset him.
