I am very pleased with what I have seen so far of Georgetown Park and I look forward to its completion. The park, along with the new homes, will be a much needed and long desired improvement for that area of town.
I like what I see at Renaissance, and I supported its development. That said, there is a certain amount of loss of credibility for the city to declare this project to be On Schedule. Up until a couple of weeks ago, there was an embarrassing sign up on Chamblee Dunwoody Road that read (in part), “Coming Fall of 2013!”
The completion of the city amenities is clearly six months behind the original plan. There may be many good reasons for this, but to call the project On Schedule shows that the city is not holding itself to the highest standard of responsibility and honesty.

This is a sweetheart deal for Dunwoody. Take note that they are not building 300 apartments that would drastically affect our schools.
