Dunwoody Family with children in our schools, needs financial assistance for forced move. Can you assist Giving Grace to raise the funds? @ahaconnection @SVdPGeorgia @ICareAtlanta @CACgeorgia

Friends,

Today people are struggling all around us but today I was notified of a family who attends Dunwoody Schools who could using a helping hand and I wanted to make you aware of the situation in case you have the ability to assist in lifting this family up.  I was notified by my friend and Dunwoody resident Christy Carr Betz who assists with an organization called Remerge and private Facebook Group called Giving Grace that assists with short term financial assistance to help those get over the hump to pay a bill or remain in their homes.  You may have read about Christy on the Aha Connection.  Today was a notice about a Dunwoody Family and I am now fully aware of circumstances and legitimacy of the ask, therefore I am sharing the story in case you want to assist.

We have a local family that needs our help. They are a family that has lives in Dunwoody for 18 years in the same apartment. They have children that attend Dunwoody schools. They are being forced out of their home due to the extreme increase in rent. They have to be out by this Saturday. They have found a place to rent this past week but may not be able to move because they need one months rent along with a months rent deposit. The total for rent and deposit $3600. They currently have $1800 towards this amount. So they need help with an additional $1800 in order to move on Saturday.

If anyone can help with this need, please put in Dunwoody in the memo. Tax-deductible donations can be made using the link below.

Tried 2x to donate and the website hangs. Any other ways we can get to them?
