Southbound Chamblee Dunwoody Road between Dunwoody Park/Old Springhouse and 285 will be closed during the overnight hours on Tuesday (4/12) and Wednesday (4/13).

 

Georgetown Gateway traffic alert! The southbound side of Chamblee Dunwoody Road between Cotillion Drive and Dunwoody Park/Old Springhouse will be closed during the overnight hours on Tuesday (4/12) and Wednesday (4/13). This is necessary to allow the contractor for Atlanta Gas Light to connect the new gas mains under the road. The northbound side of Chamblee Dunwoody Road will remain open.

** 1st night: detour to begin on Tuesday evening (4/12/2022) at 10 p.m. The detour will be removed and the road safe for traffic by 6 a.m. on Wednesday (4/13/2022).
** 2nd night: detour to begin on Wednesday (4/13/2022) at 10 p.m. The detour will be removed and the road safe for traffic by 6 a.m on Thursday (4/14/2022).

Anyone wishing to get to any of the businesses along this section of the road will need to plan ahead and access via CDR northbound. Police will be on site during the closures, and signage will be in place, as indicated in the attached traffic control/detour plan. @dunwoodypolice
