I love you Mom, till we meet again.

October 12, 1938 - June 18, 2026
Therese (nee O’Regan) Heneghan, age 87, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, with family by her side. She was the devoted wife of John for 57 years, until his death in 2023. She was the beloved mother of John (Kristin), Kathleen (Robert Narowski), William, and Michelle (Ted) Rymarcsuk, and grandmother of Riley (Kathleen), Gavin (Mary Ellen) and Declan Heneghan, Jack (Magda) and Ella Narowski, Katlyn, Molly and Abbey Heneghan, and William Rymarcsuk, and great grandmother to Adalyn McAuley, Ivy Summers, and Percy Heneghan. Dear sister of the late Mary Ellen O’Regan, Jack (late Neville) O’Regan, and Kathy (late Kenneth) Lipinski, and was the daughter of the late Catherine (nee Ryan) and Maurice O'Regan from County Limerick, Ireland. Fond Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A lifelong Chicagoan, Therese attended Presentation Catholic School and St. Mary High School. Her greatest achievement was raising four children and watching her grandchildren grow and thrive. As a young woman she lived in San Francisco and Chicago with girlfriends before marriage. She and John raised their family at St. Monica parish where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed music, art, conversation, people, stories, and learning. She especially loved Irish dance and music and folk music of all kinds. She and John spent their winters at Edgewater Pines Resident Owned Community in Seminole, Florida for 27 years. She enjoyed her neighbors and dinner companions at the Resurrection Retirement Community where she and John lived since 2019. She had a great sense of humor, was deeply compassionate, and made friends easily. She was interested in everything and loved being connected to her community.
