Food assistance is available locally if needed. The community welcomed to donate.

My Census form arrived and only took a few minutes to complete the survey on-line.
I just completed the census for my household. It was quick, easy, and took about 10 minutes!
Getting an accurate count of who lives in Dunwoody on the census will help ensure that our city gets the correct level of funding and other resources for its population from the state and Federal governments.
If you're stuck at home this weekend, and looking for something to do - please take a few minutes to go online and take the census.

City of Dunwoody State of the City 2020 is now canceled and City Manager scales back City Hall Operations.
City Announcement:
In light of new developments today regarding public events and the Coronavirus, we have decided to cancel tonight's Dunwoody State of the City. We regret any inconvenience this decision might cause and hope you will understand. We will work with Mayor Lynn Deutsch to reschedule this event at a later date. In the meantime, we've set up a special website to share updates and prevention information from our county, state, and federal partners.
Dunwoody City Manager Eric Linton also initiated several city operational changes based on the Governor's recommendations. He has canceled Court Operations for the next two weeks, and all upcoming Planning and Zoning cases have been deferred for the next 30 days. This is for cases before the City Council and Zoning Boards. Since the North Shallowford Building is our backup operational facility, all outside activity in that facility is suspended until further notice.
Rest in Peace, Rebecca Williams - Wife, Mother, Friend, Mayor, Council Member, Emmy award winning journalist, and angel on earth.
Rebecca was a classy, intelligent & kind lady with a quick smile. I really enjoyed getting to know her.
She will be missed by many.
She will be missed by many.
Rebecca passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on the morning of 3/11. Those who know Rebecca know she was a literal angel on earth and will be deeply missed. As our family mourns this great loss we ask for continued prayers and thoughts for our sweet Becky.
Please also keep former Crier publisher, Mr. Dick Williams, and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Funeral arrangements are in the works, and we will update as details are set.
