Where is the Dunwoody Police Department located?
We are located at 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 100, Dunwoody, GA.  30346.  The main office number is (678)382-6900.  

How can I contact the police for help?
In the event of an emergency, call 911.  We are dispatched through the Dekalb 911 center on all calls.  If it is not an emergency and you need an officer to come out to your residence or business, call (404)294-2911.  This is the non-emergency number.  If you need to contact the Dunwoody PD, please call (678)382-6900.

How can I obtain a copy of a police report and how much are they?
You may come to the police department and pick up a copy of the report.  The cost is $5.00 for accident and/or incident reports unless you are listed in the report as a victim, they are free.

Do you conduct employment background checks?
Yes.  You will need to sign a waiver and bring a valid identification card.  The cost is $20.00.

Can I get my fingerprints taken at the Dunwoody Police Department?
Yes.  Prints are taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11AM and 1-3PM.  The cost is $15.00.

My vehicle was impounded, where can I pick it up?

11th Annual Pine Straw Sale
The Wildcat Cross Country team is once again selling pine straw. Dunwoody XC has a long standing tradition (this is our 11th year!) of selling pine straw to raise funds for the booster club. The pine straw is delivered right to your driveway/yard. The cost is only $4.50 per bale with a 10 bale minimum, delivery included. The Nava / Breffle Wrestling Club at Dunwoody High School is looking for boys ages 6 to 14.

The Nava / Breffle Wrestling Club is proud to announce that we will begin our 2009 season the Week of November 16^th.  We are looking forward to another strong year with more athletes and more competition than ever before.  For those of you who are new to the program, the Nava / Breffle Wrestling Club is a youth wrestling program held at Dunwoody HS for kids aged 6-14.  The club is intended to act as a feeder program for Dunwoody HS, but no one is precluded from the program.  In other words, we welcome all athletes regardless of school district. 

The Nava / Breffle Wrestling Club is a beginner’s wrestling program that will be held 2 days a week, typically from about 6:00 – 7:30.  Last year, we practiced on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  The exact days haven’t been set for this year, so please stay tuned.   As a beginner’s club, we concentrate on teaching fundamentals.  However, we do a lot of live wrestling and mix in a lot of strength and conditioning training.  We also try to have a lot of fun.

For those of you that are new to wrestling, the discipline, self confidence and sense of urgency learned in wrestling translates extremely well into success in other sports and life in general.  Your kids will learn balance, coordination and footwork that will help them in all other sports.  Most importantly, your kids will learn to stand in front of and engage an opponent of the same size and learn to give maximum effort.

Cost: 

• Club dues are $50. 
• You will also need to obtain a USA Wrestling Club Membership which is approximately $35. 
• You will also need to purchase a singlet (required uniform) and headgear IF you plan to participate in tournaments.
• The only other cost will be the entrance fees to the tournaments.

Revive285 meetings look at options including light rail through Dunwoody.

It’s no secret that Atlanta is plagued with traffic, and one of the most congested areas lies between I-75 and I-85 on the top end of I-285. In 2006, the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority launched revive285 top end to develop a solution to the traffic challenges on this vital corridor. The project team, with public input, has since developed eight transportation solutions or “Alternatives” for the corridor. The project team is now seeking additional public input to help determine which of the eight Alternatives should move forward, be modified, or be discarded.

On November 3, 4 and 5, we will hold Public Information Open Houses where you may review the alternatives in detail and provide feedback. The video below provides an overview of the alternatives that will be presented at the Open Houses. We invite you to view the video and other materials posted in preparation for your visit.
