Where is the Dunwoody Police Department located?
We are located at 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 100, Dunwoody, GA.  30346.  The main office number is (678)382-6900.  

How can I contact the police for help?
In the event of an emergency, call 911.  We are dispatched through the Dekalb 911 center on all calls.  If it is not an emergency and you need an officer to come out to your residence or business, call (404)294-2911.  This is the non-emergency number.  If you need to contact the Dunwoody PD, please call (678)382-6900.

How can I obtain a copy of a police report and how much are they?
You may come to the police department and pick up a copy of the report.  The cost is $5.00 for accident and/or incident reports unless you are listed in the report as a victim, they are free.

Do you conduct employment background checks?
Yes.  You will need to sign a waiver and bring a valid identification card.  The cost is $20.00.

Can I get my fingerprints taken at the Dunwoody Police Department?
Yes.  Prints are taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11AM and 1-3PM.  The cost is $15.00.

My vehicle was impounded, where can I pick it up?

 I received a ticket and I want to pay it.  Who do I need to contact?
You need to contact the City of Dunwoody Municipal Court at (678)382-6970, Monday-Friday 8-4, or go to the following link:

Does the Dunwoody Police Department have a Neighborhood Watch program?
Yes.  Please contact Officer William Furman at (678)382-6913, or Sgt. Mike Carlson at (678)382-6907.  

How can I have my house placed on Vacation Watch?
Please e-mail William.furman@dunwoodyga.gov with your name, address, phone number, emergency contact information and dates that you will be gone. 

Will the Dunwoody Police Department host a Citizen’s Police Academy?
Yes.  We will have our first class next year.  Please check our web-site periodically for information on sign-up and dates.
