I do not know why counncilman Ross believes that anyone would spend a night in Dunwoody to go to the GA Music hall of Fame. Maybe a package deal with a tour of the Donaldson Farm , the the Historic Farm House.
Rumor has it he is going to RAISE the Hotel Motel tax to fund the Bonds needed.
I hope all the financial information is made public becasue I do not want ONE penny of City money to be spent on this project. If the private Center wants it , let them build it.
How about we focus on the things that the city needs like developing Brook Run, acquiring more green space. Develop park programs for out kids.
It took 17 million dollars to build the Porter Sanford Center for Arts and that is a huge bust.
Don't even think about using the Development Authority to be the bonding authority.
Last year Mike Jacobs passed legislation that compelled DeKalb DA to submit all bonds to a vote of the public, NOTHING behind close doors.
