Unfortunately I am forced to miss this meeting but the City should be streaming it at the link below which is the agenda page for this meeting.
I am attempting to view it as any interested citizen would but am seeing error pages with no view.
I have an email into City IT so hopefully they are aware.

Meeting is now up

Thank you city staff.
Reference the budget. The Dunwoody CVI of 2008 said the police budget would be around $2.8 million with about 28 employees. Now the budget is closing in on $6.5 million and 59 employees. We've gone from the promised lean and mean to fat and sassy.
Before hiring additional employees for a special police detail did council look to see if the employees were utilized appropriately. Does the city really need 6 officers on duty at 3am on Monday or 7 officers at 7am on Sunday? A chauffer for city prisoners makes no sense if the officers are also going to court. A detective for the DEA to use outside of the city, again makes no sense to me.
Surveillance at Brook Run: No have the police check it hourly. Programming for future city hall: No. A TV commercial;oh heck no. An across the board pay raise; how about the top 10 or 20%. The dog park should be a private business. Traffic calming radar signs; only if they're playing Mozart. Discussion item 10; no.
Dunwoody is proving to be unnecessary government.
Hey, and now that Lance Armstrong has bowed out of the sport in disgrace, perhaps the bicycling trend will ebb. So, can we just forget about creating anymore bicycle lanes? Instead maybe rubber coat the sidewalks for us runners?
Of course though, if we were to restrict the lanes to bacchantes on bicycles, then I say - "Oh yes, by all means build more!"
Video of Oct 15th meeting should be posted soon at the city link below.
