Tonight in Dunwoody - DeKalb County Commission District 1 Candidate Forum

 Tonight - Date: October 5, 2014   Time: 7:00 PM

2325 N. Peachtree Way
Dunwoody, GA 30338

The Dunwoody Homeowners Association and the Dunwoody Crier have organized a Candidate Forum for this evening for the upcoming November 4th election of the DeKalb County Commission seat vacated by Elaine Boyer.  Along with the Forum, the DHA will welcome City of Dunwoody Public Works Director, Mr. Michael Smith to give a complete update and answer questions on projects that are currently under constructions as well as future plans.

As there are five candidates in the race, it is very likely that this election will not be decided until December 2nd because a run off would be needed if no single candidate gets 50% plus 1 vote.  I have included below the direct contact information of each candidate, links to their web sites and links to various news stories regarding the candidates.   Please learn about the candidates and vote in the November election, otherwise your favorite candidate might not be in the top two for the runoff or even better with a heavy turnout there is a chance that your favorite candidate could receive the magic 51% percent threshold.

FORMAT
  • Each candidate will have 2 minutes for opening remarks
  • Each candidate will be asked the same question (5 in total) and will have 1 minute to answer
  • Each candidate will have 1 minute for a closing statement
