Dunwoody Memorial Day Service, Brook Run Park, 4770 N. Peachtree Rd, Monday, May 27, 10:00 AM

The City of Dunwoody will host its Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 27th from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Brook Run Park's Veterans Memorial (4770 N. Peachtree Road, Dunwoody). We hope you will join us for this special Dunwoody tradition as we honor soldiers who sacrificed everything for our freedom.

As a side note, this is an event for the entire family, and I encourage families to bring their children to the ceremony to learn the meaning of sacrifice and service.  Today with many other area Boy Scouts my 13-year-old son Declan placed 100's of flags in front of the graves at Marietta National Cemetery which was an eye-opening experience for him and he now looking forward to the event on Monday.

We all need to be reminded and thankful for those who have sacrificed their tomorrows for the many privileges we enjoy today.  Please join us in the park for an hour, the ceremonty starts at 10 a.m.  Thanks
