Atlanta Colts Football & Cheerleading - Teams and squads are filling up fast. Don’t delay!

This will be my 9 year old son's fourth season playing Atlanta Colts Football and his 7 year old brothers second year of play. The two boys body styles are very different but football has positions for all types of players no matter their size or athletic ability. If your boys are between the ages of 6 & 13 I highly recommend the Atlanta Colts football program. Take a look at the video below (that was made by a parent on my son's 6 & 7 year old team) and see the many positive life skills that are learned on the football field. (PS: I don't have little girls but if I did they would be cheering for their brothers in the Colts cheerleading program.)

The ACYA has adopted a grade based league structure for the 2009 Season. Players will be placed in the league based primarily on their grade for the 2009 – 2010 school year. They must also meet the age criteria. Please note the age cut-off date has been changed from April 30th to August 31st.

The Intra-League (IL) is comprised of five leagues with players from 1st grade to 7th grade. All of these teams play at Murphey Candler Park. The typical IL roster will have between 15 and 17 players.

Online registration is open – follow the links at www.atlantacolts.com. Regular registration ends May 31st. You can also register during in-park registration days or download a registration form from the website. Football registration will be limited to a maximum number of players per league. When the limit is reached, a waitlist will be formed. There were many kids left on the waitlist in 2008. Don’t get left on the sidelines.
