Two years ago I thought I had discovered a cucumber and yellow squash hybrid; however, my Georgia native neighbors informed me that particular mix was nothing new down here in the sub-tropics. But last year they became believers with my trifold meld of cucumber, yellow squash, and sweet potato.
Then this winter I do think I can go statewide, if not national, with what everyone thought was impossible - a sweet potato and mushroom plant!
This flourishing and nourishing combination, which I shall call "A Sweet-Room of One's Own" should unduly impress the world's botanists and perhaps even venerate and reignite the veteris vestigia flammae of Virginia Woolf.
Thus, with this Gary Ray russet, and not even taking into account all the truly miraculous medicinal herbs I've created through the years, I am ready to declare myself the "Luther Burbank / George Washington Carver" of Dunwoody!!!
