Dunwoody's Pic in the Park Grand Slam Event on Saturday featuring the move "The Sandlot"

Take yourself out to the ball game at Dunwoody’s Pic in the Park Grand Slam Event at the new Brook Run Park baseball fields (4664 Barclay Drive) Saturday, September 22nd at 6:00 p.m. There will be food and festivities including a ribbon cutting, an inaugural first pitch, beverage and popcorn carts and giveaways! The movie will feature ‘The Sandlot’ (PG) shown on at 40’ screen at dusk, so bring your lawn chairs blankets and don’t strike out on this great event! Unfortunately pets will not be allowed at this event.

City of Dunwoody offers Lego Batman movie at Brook Run on Friday Night


The City of Dunwoody’s ‘Pic in the Park’ event will feature The LEGO Batman Movie (PG 1h 44mins) and will take place Friday evening August 4th at dusk on the lawn beyond the playground at Brook Run Park (4770 N. Peachtree Road, Dunwoody).

Bring the family, friends and neighbors along with a blanket or chair and relax under the stars and enjoy a FREE family friendly outdoor movie on a giant 45’ screen. The Popcorn Lady will serve popcorn from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

All movies are open to the public and begin at dusk. Feel free to bring your picnic baskets and coolers. Please mind local ordinances/rules regarding open containers and glassware.

B98.5 FM hosts free Disney movie screaning of "Moana" Saturday Night at Pernosal Park in Dunwoody

B98.5 FM is hosting "B at the Movies" at Park at Pernoshal Court, Saturday, May 6th at dusk

Join your neighbors and B98.5 for B at the Movies at Park at Pernoshal Court (4575 N. Shallowford Road, Dunwoody), Saturday, May 6th for a FREE family outdoor movie! 
The Dunwoody event will take place Saturday evening May 6th. Bring the family, your blanket or beach chair and relax under the stars and enjoy Disney's Moana (PG) on a giant 45’ screen. All movies are open to the public and begin at dusk. 
Concessions will be available until halfway through each film, but feel free to bring your picnic baskets and coolers. Please mind local ordinances/rules regarding open containers and glassware. Also, be sure to arrive early for fun, games and prizes!

The City of Dunwoody & radio station B98.5 FM together with Arrow Exterminators and Shumate Air Conditioning & Heating proudly present “B at the Movies” at Brook Run Park.

Grab a blanket, some chairs, family and friends and join us for an evening of family fun! Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at sunset.

The evening features HOME (PG), a Dreamworks animated feature. When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human. And while he changes her planet and she changes his world, they discover the true meaning of the word HOME.

Grab a blanket, some chairs, family and friends and join us for an evening of family fun! Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and the movie begins at sunset. Look for us on the play lawn located near the park's main entrance, next to the playground. We look forward to seeing you there!

The evening features Frozen (PG), a Disney animated adventure with fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) who sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter...(for those few that don't know).

In case there are Fathers of little girls who do not know the words to the Academy Award Winning Best Movie Song "Let it Go" - I thought I would copy the link to the sing along version which has had 114 million views.  Who knows maybe the entire park will break out in song?   I wouldn't know, I have boys and we can't carry a tune.

Dunwoody Pic in the Park - Brook Run - Friday May 18th


You are invited to join in on a great FREE FAMILY EVENT as the City of Dunwoody presents the animated action film “THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN” (PG). It’s a free outdoor movie held at Brook Run Park on Friday May 18th brought to you by the City of Dunwoody and the Dunwoody Parks & Recreation Department.

Bring the entire family for this wonderful action adventure journey as Tintin, a young reporter and his faithful dog, Snowy, set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Captain Haddock's ancestor. Based on the classic comics by Hergé, TINTIN is sure to be an entertaining evening of fun.

City Hosts “Pic in the Park” Movie Night at Brook Run Park - Sat Sep 25th


The City of Dunwoody Parks and Recreation welcomes families and kids of all ages to “Pic in the Park.” Dunwoody and area residents are invited to enjoy this free, outdoor event featuring the PG release Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Other activities include face painting, a bounce house, food for purchase, and more!

The movie will be shown on a giant outdoor screen on the play field located at the front of the park (North Peachtree entrance), adjacent to the playground.

As a consideration to others, Pic in the Park moviegoers are asked to leave pets at home; however, pet are allowed in the park and the Dog Park will be open until sunset. Umbrellas and high-backed chairs are strongly discouraged to allow visibility for all viewers.
