John: Please consider revising the street furniture list to include a u-rack for bike parking (at least 1-2 per block). This results in a uniform, upscale look and provides a consistent and needed amenity. This also makes business sense for the city's tax coffers -- bike riders shop locally more and buy more in total than those who don't ride bikes. Also, if bikeshare launches in the PCID (as is planned), some systems allow return to public bike racks but for this to work, they must already exist. Also, please consider a statement that any private streets cannot deny access to users legally allowed on public streets.
