Arrrrghhhh! You up for spooky fun and pirate surprises around every corner? Then don’t miss Dunwoody’s favorite fall tradition as Boy Scout Troop 477 hosts another fabulous Haunted Farm Tour on October 26 from 3:00 to 9:00pm!

“X” marks the spot this year as a treasure hunt will be taking place that gives you a rare glimpse inside of historical Donaldson-Bannister Farmhouse and the enchanted exterior gardens, as you help stranded pirates find pieces to rebuild their marooned ship. And if you successfully find what they need, there’s treasure to be had!

This year’s Haunted Farm Tour also offers an afternoon and evening of spookyriffic activities sure to have the entire family wanting more! Enjoy activities, crafts, and games where you might just win a prize or three. This year there will be a new addition of a petting zoo sure to be a hit! There will also be a great line-up of live music to put you in the fall spirit, with everything from rock to bluegrass to jazz.

"This is the seventh year we've thrown this fall event here at the Donaldson-Bannister Farm as our main fundraiser," commented Boys Scout Troop 477 Scoutmaster Barry Deutsch, "and we're so proud of what the boys have done to make this a banner event for the city. This year is very exciting as we get to help showcase the significant improvements that Dunwoody Preservation Trust has accomplished over the past year to make the Farm a destination and a significant historical landmark here in our hometown. We are so proud to be here."

Admission is free and activities range in cost from 50 cents for games to $3 for the tour. Unlimited Game Bracelets are available along with a Family Tour package. So don't miss Dunwoody's favorite fall tradition - or this year you might have to walk the plank! And as always… Costumes are Welcome!

Plenty of free parking is available at Independence Square (corner of Chamblee Dunwoody at Peeler) with additional parking available just down the street at the Vermack Swim Tennis center.
